Friday when Rene got home from work, he told me that this weekend we would do whatever it was that I wanted to do, and he wouldn’t question it.

I’ve been waiting to make our way up to Boulder, home of the Celestial Seasons Tea Co.  and take a tour of the production plant.

So off we went on Saturday afternoon…

They do not allow for photos to be taken in the plant, as their machines are made specifically for them, and they want to keep it that way.

It was a pretty cool tour, I really enjoy seeing how things are made and all the technology that goes into production plants…some high-tech stuff I tell ya…

The tour is free, for your ticket they give you free tea.  We got Wild Berry Zinger Herbal Tea, and its great.

I decided to make it into ICED tea, as we are in the midst of summer, and its HOT here in Denver.

What you’ll need:

Tea bags (you’ll need about 2 bags for every two cups you make)

Sugar – optional

Pitcher

Water

What you’ll do:

~Boil 2 cups of water, once boiling, take off heat, and place 4 tea bags in hot water, let seep for 4-6 minutes

~If you’re like me and like your tea a bit sweet, add sugar, amount is to your liking

~Once its cooled to room temp, pour in a pitcher with 2 cup cold water

* I left the tea bags in as it cooled completely.

Enjoy…
