Rae Rae loves some bagels, so I was looking forward to this.
And then I forgot about them in the fridge for two days.
And then they burned, as I baked exactly as directed.
BUT, I’ll dust myself off and try again soon!
I also have a suggestion for Miss Dorie for her next book, put a note on the top of the recipe with the total mix/chill/rise/bake time….if I had known, I would have started this on a Sat and baking on Sunday, darn!!

WOW….It’s been almost 2 months since I’ve blogged. It’s always bittersweet to take some time off of writing/blogging; bitter as I feel I have somewhat of an “obligation” to my site, and sweet, because I don’t have to worry about “having” to have something to post about…life’s decisions, right?!?!
This recipe of the Whole Wheat Bread was from Sept 18th, and to be honest, I didn’t bake this until last weekend. It was good, not great. For some reason or another I just cant seem to get my bread to rise and be nice and “fluffy”, I guess much like you would buy in the store. So, its always a bit on the dense side, but thats OK.
