Rene and I first made this sauce recipe about two years ago, after a family trip to So. Dak left us with a nice box of tomatoes. We didn’t use any recipe we found via the web, we just know what we like for seasonings, and we went for it.
I’ll only say it once and I mean it 110% when I say, Dave aint got nothin’ on Rene!!!
Going vegetarian has been hard, I’m certainly not gonna lie about that. But, I have not had pork and beef since February!! I’m pretty damn proud of myself for that. Eating seafood (I have a new love for smoked salmon), and chicken, here and there!
While surfing the web I came across Whiskey Sliders, and thought I would give them a go for the Super Bowl party we would be hosting, and then Sunday came along and I forgot where I live, you can’t buy liquor in Colorado on Sunday, this girls still used to Las Vegas, where you can pretty much get whatever you want whenever you want.
As I went through a pile of old magazines my mother had I spotted a “Cuisine At Home” with chicken piccata on the front that looks so good, so I took it, rather than it going to the recycle bin…Thanks Mom!! I just now am getting around to opening the mag (months later) & I went straight to the piccata recipe took a look at what I needed for it, and it was, winner, winner, chicken dinner!!
