Soooo….I know I’ve been a bad, bad blogger lately. What can I say life’s been happening.
I’m doing my best to get back caught up with Tuesdays With Dorie. Sunday I managed to get the Best Ever Brownies made. And I’ll be honest, while good, they are not the best ever that I’ve had.
They cracked on the top as soon as I placed a knife in them to cut, which always seems to bum me out…
They also tasted a lot like some of the other brownies we have made with Tuesdays With Dorie, or maybe it was a recipe from the book, Baking: From My Home To Yours, also a recipe collection from Dorie Greenspan. Who know…?!?!
The one thing I will say is this: the recipe says to bake for about 25-28 minutes, seems a lot of bakers, along with myself, found they were still not even close to being done, so I ended up baking mine for about 15 minutes more….Food for thought…
I do however think these will be super yum, with a bowl of vanilla ice cream!!
